the movie trailer looks wonderful.
but I want to know if anyone has read the book..?
If you have read the book do you reccomend it?

I love the 60’s era and think that I will enjoy the book just because of that alone, but if you have any opinions on it.. please share. thanks (:

I love the book. Books usually can go into more side stories and details than the movies…some of the book is very sad…but inspiring.
If you like that era, “the secret life of bees” is another good one.

I’ve not read the book, but evidently it does go more in depth, as blueviolet noted. I saw the film, and it was quite good!

I thought the movie was awesome, but I haven’t read the book.

I read the book in under a day, I just couldn’t put it down it was so good! The movie left some details, but I guess only for the sake of keeping the movie from going on for 6 hours. Those exempt details aside, the movies was AMAZING! All of the actors portrayed the characters just as I’d imagined them
