The tote fashion bloggers are using (Kendi Everyday, Zipped, and LuckyStarFashion).
It is sizeable but not gigantic. It is basic with no bells and whistle. It goes well with a lot of different outfits (business and casual if you buy the black one).
It is not heavy (not lined). The handle drop is long enough to accommodate a thicker jacket/coat. It stands up when you put it down.
The material is not the best but is not shabby either. It gets softer with use and would have a well loved patina. Even if you don't baby it, the tatteredness will make it look like a heirloom.
There's no top zip or closure. There's only one small interior zipped pocket, enough for keys but not much else. I use a small zip pouch for loose items so that they will be easy to locate using this tote.
The price point is very acceptable for a 100% leather tote, especially if you get a coupon or buy it when Madewell offers % off to purchases.
This bag is one of Madewell's classics. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
