My absolute favorite thing to wear in the Summer is denim, denim, and more denim. Denim is altogether laidback and casual, which to me is the epitome of Summer. It's a basic wardrobe necessity as it seamlessly ties everything in your closet together. Besides, you guys know my thought towards denim; head-to-toe is all I wear and it's a look I will never cease to quit. Can you guys say, "outfit repeat on fleek!?" I went down the grungy route. For this look, I was inspired by the 90's. First thoughts that came to mind was Calvin Klein, grungy platform boots, tattoo chokers, pig tails (mind you, I haven't rocked pig tails since elementary school, but I thought it added the perfect touch of girlishness to such tough outfit) and distressed denim in all its ripped up, destroyed glory. I thrifted this denim jacket about 7 years ago, so I thought it was time to show it some love, DIY the crap out of it, and bring it to new life.
