When packing for this trip, I knew I would be spending everyday in a bathing suit. Knowing that there are other things to do at the resort, such as mid-day lunch and trips to the bar, I wanted a cover-up that was somewhat conservative but still had an island feel to it. I came across this white scallop lace romper and knew it would be perfect. It was easy to take off and on and looks great over a bikini. For the days there, I alternated between this large carry-all straw tote and a backpack. This straw tote is amazing for carrying makeup essentials, sun block and a good novel and what’s even better is that it doesn’t hold any sand when leaving the beach. I bought this bag a few seasons ago and it’s always been my beach go-to. To make it feel somewhat new and give it more of a tropical look, I opted to add this cute and colorful pom-pom charm.
