I was really excited to wear this outfit, and I love how it turned out! I’m especially psyched about my new Jeffrey Campbell unicorn heels, eep! so expensive, but totally worth it.
I’ve been on the hunt for cute tops lately, cause it seems all I’m ever drawn to are dresses or skirts! not much point having skirts without tops. this is one of the few I found that I knew I would enjoy wearing. I love how it kind of looks waiter-ish, and it’s super comfy.
and I’m in love with this skirt too! so really I think this is one of my new favourite outfits.

I just started my blog in september, and I really had no clue what it was going to become. I don’t even know how I got the idea, I just knew I wanted to keep kind of a creative record of my outfits. I found out about Chictopia and it has really helped me define my sense of style, and shaped my blog in that way.
I love Chictopia because everyone is so inspiring. my favourite outfits aren’t from vogue or on movie stars, they’re what girls like me wear every day. it’s awesome to be able to see an outfit you love and know you can make something similar, or even find some of the pieces for yourself if you want, and it won’t cost an arm and a leg. these girls are so creative, and they have truly made me up my game and enjoy fashion even more.
what’s more, everyone is very supportive and encouraging. I love when I get a comment on an outfit- it’s great to have feedback for once!- or even when I don’t get any. it helps me figure out what works best for me, to some degree anyways. and it’s so nice to have someone notice what I’m wearing sometimes, because I put so much thought into it! so just knowing fellow Chictopians have seen it or commented or voted gives me one more reason to enjoy getting dressed in the morning.
